Coastline Adventures Terms & Conditions

  • All classes need to be booked via the website booking form or by calling us.

  • Internet bookings will only be accepted if payment is made at the same time.

  • Surfing lessons will not be cancelled due to rain, but maybe cancelled if the conditions are deemed to be dangerous, or if the surf is too small to run a class.

  • All customers will be given a refund or a credit if the class is cancelled by Coastline Adventures.

  • All customers must complete a booking form either on the web or before the lesson, and sign the assumption of risk form prior to each class. https://goo.gl/forms/ujLbFh3ukkVHMrf72 

  • Vouchers must be redeemed within one calendar year of purchase

 

Coastline Adventures Cancellation Policy

*When booked directly through Coastline Adventures - Bookings made with a third party will be subject to ours and the third party cancellation policies.

 

Cancellations made 24 hours or longer before the Tour date

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

If a refund is required there is a 20% booking fee that is non refundable.

 

Cancellations within 24 hours/ or “no show” on the day of the Tour

Due to the early pick up and the preparations necessary any cancellations within 24 hours are non refundable, depending on the reason for cancelling, as outlined below there are rebooking and refund options available.

 

“No show” refers to Clients who arrive 15 minutes late after the pick up time, with no contact made to the Coastline Adventures email or reservations contact Clients will be charged 100% of the tour cost.

 

Cancellations due to Illness

Cancellations due to illness made 24 hours or more prior to the day of the Tour have the following options:

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

If a refund is required there is a 20% booking fee that is non refundable.

 

Due to the early pick up and the preparations necessary any cancellations within 24 hours due to illness are non refundable, however those Clients will be able to rebook at a 20% discount.

 

Cancellations due to weather:

It is dangerous to operate under adverse weather conditions.

We reserve the right to cancel due to weather, if this is the case clients will be notified up to 24 hours prior.

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

If a refund is required there is a 20% booking fee that is non refundable.

 

Cancellations due to Operational Reasons

Unforeseen operational reasons, staffing, vehicle, can be the cause for Coastline to have to cancel tours.

If the Tour is cancelled 72 hours or longer outside the Tour date:

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change, with an extra bonus for Clients on Tour to apologise for the inconvenience.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

If a refund is required there is a 20% booking fee that is non refundable.

 

If the Tour is cancelled within 24 hours prior to the Tour date:

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change, with an extra bonus for Clients on Tour to apologise for the inconvenience.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

Or a full refund will be made available.

 

Cancellations due to death:

Clients have the option for a free of charge date change.

To keep the money on file as credit to towards another tour or voucher.

Or a full refund will be made available upon receipt of a certificate of death.


 

Coastline Adventures Insurance is underwritten by Sports Underwriting Australia with Platinum Liability cover.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Travel insurance is also strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel. Your insurance protection should include cover for cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury and accident, death and loss of personal baggage and money and personal liability insurance.

Evidence of such insurances should be produced to Coastline Adventures on request. Insurance cover offered by credit card companies or reciprocal medical cover agreements are often not comprehensive. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas and domestic travel.
